Knit and natter

What is knit and Natter ?

Originally St. James knit and natter group was set up by Vivienne Gisby and the meetings were held in the old vicarage. Today we gather in The Church House where we are made welcome and get the chance to meet and chat to others frequenting the pub.

The purpose of the group is to enable 'like minded ' people, to have the opportunity to meet together -enjoy making a variety of knitted garments, (this is not essential ),and spend time together chatting. This engenders a feeling of connectedness which we have found to be very beneficial.

What has been happening this year?

We meet twice monthly, producing blankets and other items including teddies for baptisms.
