Appointment of new Vicar - Progress Report.We have had several applications for the position of Vicar Incumbent.Shortlisting is about to take place with interviews scheduled for late January.
Update from the Wardens:We are pleased to say that the installation of the new heating has been a great success. The church is warm and comfortable.Vacancy update:- The parish profile has been submitted to Chester and that process is on-going. We have been blessed with visiting clergy during the vacancy and this will continue until we have a new vicar. We also thank Gill Goodwin and Wendy Stockton for their ministry at Holy Trinity.January 2026Next "Youth Happening": Sun 11th January 4:30pm to 6:00pm All in Year 6 and older are welcome for games, crafts, food and discussion. Thursday Club: Our Thursday Club for the rich in years, meet together from 12:30pm to 2:30pm during term time in the hall. Our weekly programme consists of a variety of different activities from quizzes, speakers, demonstrations and musical entertainment. All are welcome from church and the wider community. Monday Evening Group: On 5th January 2026 we will be having a social evening before we begin a study on the Psalms. All are very welcome to come along to the hall at 7:45pm to join us.Ladies Social: On Thursday 9th April 2026 we will be going to watch the play "Calendar Girls" at Romiley Forum at 7:30pm - early bird tickets are £15. We will be having a meal beforehand. There is a signup sheet at the back of church or speak to Wendy Slinger for more details. Holy Trinity Church is 150 years old!To mark this significant anniversary there were special services on 12th and 19th May 2024, with special guests and past clergy attending. The week was a wonderful celebration of God's goodness.
