HOLY TRINITY NEWSLETTER JULY/AUGUST 2026

Sunday Services (All at 10.30 am)

26th July – Morning Worship

2nd August – Holy Communion

9th August – Altogether Worship

16th August – Holy Communion 

23rd & 30th August – Morning Worship

During the month of August there will be no Sunday Club, Tots, Youth Happening or Thursday Club – all will resume in September.

Reverend Adeyinka Olushonde

The Bishop of Chester will institute Adeyinka on Monday 21st September 2026 at 7pm. The Archdeacon of Macclesfield will induct Adeyinka during the same service. Please pray for Adeyinka and his family as they prepare to come to minister amongst us.

Monday Evening Group

During August we will meet on the 10th to conclude our Pilgrimage series. This will be in the hall or on a walk to the cenotaph. We will also meet on 24th August and on 7th September for “pizza, prayer and praise”.


Prayer

If anyone would like to receive prayer after the morning service please move to the wing where there will be people available to pray with you. If you have any requests for the prayer chain please contact Wendy Slinger.


Grounds Maintenance

On Saturday 15th August at 2pm we will be meeting to undertake some work in the grounds. All welcome. This will then be monthly on the 1st Saturday of each month. Bring your own tools!


Church and Hall Cleaning – date for your diary!

On 5th September we will be gathering together to clean the hall and church in readiness for the induction service between 10am and 4pm (come for as long as you can) refreshments will be available.

There are many opportunities if you would like to get involved on a Sunday morning or in other areas of church life; details of the people you need to speak to are below:-

Reading in Schools – Coram Beanstalk

We have been asked by a Charity (Coram Beanstalk) if anyone would be interested in volunteering in local primary schools to support children with reading for pleasure. They provide all the training, checks and ongoing support. We're looking for people who can dedicate an afternoon per week to support primary aged children with reading.
