Reverend Adeyinka Olushonde
The Bishop of Chester will institute Adeyinka on Monday 21st September at 7pm. The Archdeacon of Macclesfield will induct Adeyinka during the same service. Please pray for Adeyinka and his family as they prepare to come to minister amongst us.
Monday Evening Group
Meetings are held each Monday in the Church Hall at 7.45pm.
Please be advised that there will be NO MEETING on 21st September.
Prayer Spaces
There will be a meeting for the prayer spaces team on Wednesday 9th September from 12noon onwards in the hall. If you would be interested in joining the team your input would be much appreciated.
Remembrance Poppies
On Sunday 11th October we need help put the poppies together in a design to stay after church. Please bring your lunch, tea and coffee will flow and production will get going. Please keep crocheting/knitting the poppies!
Prayer
If anyone would like to receive prayer after the morning service, please move to the wing where there will be people available to pray with you. If you have any requests for the prayer chain, please contact Wendy Slinger.
Ladies Evening
On Wednesday 11th November we will be going to see “Little Voice” in Romiley with a meal beforehand. A sign-up sheet will be at the back of church during September.
Mini First Aid Training
This is being hosted in the hall on Saturday 12th September from 10am to 12pm.
Cost is £30 per person.

Deanery Revitalisation
On Sunday 6th September after the morning service there will be a short meeting to discuss the proposals. They aim to strengthen local mission, collaboration and leadership, helping us grow disciples and serve our communities more effectively. Further information on the proposals is available on the Diocese website and copies will be available in church

Reading in Schools – Coram Beanstalk
We have been asked by a Charity (Coram Beanstalk) if anyone would be interested in volunteering in local primary schools to support children with reading for pleasure. They provide all the training, checks and ongoing support. We're looking for people who can dedicate an afternoon per week to support primary aged children with reading.
