Church of England Diocese of Chester Stockport and Brinnington

St Andrews Community Church

Welcome to the "A Church Near You" page for St Andrew's Community Church.

St Andrew's is not presently being used for public worship by the Church of England, but is available for short-term and long-term hire as well as for one-off events.

We are pleased to be a permanent home for the Stockport Evangelical Church (for Sunday morning worship) and as our premises re-open further on a phased in basis -  following  the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions - we look forward to the return of other regular users and to once again be able to offer one-off lets.

Covid 19 - Lifting of Restrictions:

Visiting our premises

Although official restrictions have been lifted we respectfully recommend and encourage:

> that anyone symptomatic of Covid-19 stays away, self isolates, and follows government guidelines on obtaining an appropriate test.

> that where possible - before visiting us — use is made of the free home testing kits that are available from the NHS [obtaining a negative result].

> that visitors continue to make use of the “track and trace” system(s) available either by signing in manually or by scanning the QR code electronically.

> mask-wearing —but leave it to each person's discretion whether they wear one or not. > continued congregation/visitor use of hand sanitiser

Thank you

St Andrew's is also the home for our Parish Office (but with no set hours of opening).
