Welcome to St Thomas' Church, Keresley.
(also including details of activities at our other centre, "The Pit Stop" in Keresley Village)
St Thomas’ Church, Keresley & Coundon is the Church of England parish church serving the communities of Keresley and Coundon in Coventry, England. (Not to be confused with St Thomas, Longford which is a different church). The church building has stood on this site for 175 years, set amongst trees beside the busy Tamworth Road (B4098).
The Pit Stop is our community space in Rathbone Close, Keresley Village (by the bus terminus).
Today these centres are a Christian community of all ages enjoying a variety of styles in worship. Our main meeting for family worship is at 10:30am every Sunday at St Thomas', but you will find a welcome at any of our services. There are a range of activities organised for children and young people, from pre-school age to teenage. And there are various groups for adults who want to find out more about the Christian Faith. St Thomas’ also remains a popular choice for weddings, christenings and funerals. Whatever the occasion, we will try to help you through these major life events.
The parish of Keresley: St Thomas is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Coventry’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
