About Us

The church we envisage is God centered, that everything we do is rooted in him. That we live out the Father's love and compassion with one another and the communities we live in. That we are joyfully sharing the Good News about Jesus with everyone. We envisage a church that is seeing the releasing and transformation of lives in the power of the Holy Sprit. That we are a church that is generously giving as we have received.

We see a church with hundreds of adults and children from different people groups and different Streams of Life. The church is bursting with life with numbers of initiatives focused on changing lives, changing our community and changing the perception of Church. Family life is outworked through a network of Life Streams and Groups spread out across the local area. If you have not yet joined a Life Group why not try one out and find a group where you can be blessed and can be a blessing.

The church we envisage is multigenerational. Meetings are hallmarked with exuberant praise, intimate worship and inspiring preaching.

"The parish of Fletchamstead: St James is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Coventry’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
