About Us
St Oswald's Church is located in Jardine Crescent, right in the heart of Tile Hill. It is a Grade 2 listed building which was designed by Sir Basil Spence following the 2nd World War and was consecrated on the 6th June 1957.
The church prides itself on its social action programme. It runs a community advice centre which meets on a Friday morning (currently suspended due to coronavirus) and has a Foodbank which is open on Tuesday and Thursday mornings (10-12).
We support the work of the Additional Curates Society, The Mission to Seafearers, The Leprosy Mission, The Children's Society. Our link churches include Honington (CoE) in rural Warwichsire, Our Lady of Remedies in Manila in the Philippines (RC) and St Luke's Holbrooks (CoE).
If you are thinking about having a Wedding or a Baptism then we are the church for you, our beautiful church makes the perfect venue. You can have either modern language or the vicar preferred choice the traditional Prayer Book (which Prince William used) and it will cost you only the fees which is a lot less than some places around Warwickshire, and it's even better for Baptisms which are FREE.
