St James' Ansty is a fantastic place at which to worship. We have holy communion at 11.30am on the first and third Sundays of each month.
St James' is an extremely popular place in which to be married. In 2014 twenty three couples were married at St James. St James’ is a beautiful medieval church. It lies behind the gardens of magnificent Ansty Hall. This means that wedding parties can walk from the church through the gardens to Ansty Hall for their reception. There are also many other wonderful reception venues nearby, such as Ashton Lodge, Nettle Hill, Ansty Club, the Ansty Golf Centre, and The Shilton Arms.
