About Us

Welcome to Holy Trinity, the Parish Church for Stratford-upon-Avon.

We are here for everyone, whatever your age or experience of faith. We seek to offer inspiring worship which celebrates the life-changing presence of Jesus Christ, work together to enable everyone to grow as a disciple of Jesus and reach out to those in need.

Whether you have been to church before or are coming for the first time, you are assured of a warm welcome!

There has been a worshipping community at Holy Trinity, Stratford-upon-Avon, since the 9th century, the church in its present form dates from approximately 1210.   Located on the banks of the River Avon it is probably England's most-visited Parish Church.  It's famous particularly for its connection with William Shakespeare who was baptized, worshiped and was buried here.

Our services are open to anyone, and no previous experience is required!

At Holy Trinity you will find a wide range of styles of worship: from low key and quiet to grand and sometimes loud; traditional and formal to informal and creative. Music is often provided by our splendid organ and choir, at other times by a worship band.

We know that one size does not fit all, and hope that there will be something in all our worship that will draw people of any age or background into a real experience of God’s loving presence in their lives and in the world.
