St. Mary's Warwick

Welcome to the Collegiate Church of St Mary, Warwick

St Mary's is a busy parish church, an historic landmark and tourist attraction, set in the ancient town of Warwick. The church is one of the largest in Britain and people have worshipped here for over 900 years. We hope you'll find the information about our church life, here and on the  St Mary's website, of interest and it will encourage you to worship with us. Our aim is to ensure you'll experience a warm welcome and encounter a place of peace and prayer.

St Mary’s is usually open for worship every Sunday (08.00, 10.30 and 17.30) and every Wednesday (10.00 and 17.30). Sunday morning services at 10.30 are live streamed on Facebook and YouTube

During the winter season St Mary’s is usually open for visitors from 10.00 to 16.00 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and from 12.00 to 16.00 (Wednesday, Sunday).

Before you travel, please check the latest Weekly Newsletter for any changes to the regular pattern of worship or visitor opening times.

We need to raise over £1.5 million to make urgent repairs to the crumbling stonework of St Mary's landmark tower. Please donate to Campaign 2023.

Our Holy Communion service is a celebration of the Eucharist, an ancient name (from the Greek word for 'thanksgiving') widely used today for the service that is otherwise known as the Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper or Mass. The Eucharist is a service in which Christians follow Jesus' command to his followers, to share bread and wine in remembrance of him. The order of service follows the Book of Common Prayer (BCP).
