St Mary's is a Grade 1 listed medieval church in the village of Crich in the Peak District area of Derbyshire. Our aim is "To know Jesus and for Jesus to be Known" and everything we do in our community and in Church has this in our minds as we worship together and live out our daily lives in our village. Crich is a small village which is growing year on year with new housing developments on the edges of the Parish and in suitable spaces within the Parish boundary. This presents us with a continuing challenge for showing Jesus to others who do not yet know Him as a personal Saviour.
In April 2019 our new vicar, Rev Ian Whitehead, joined us after after 19 years service in Lichfield Diocese. He is committed to working with the two churches under his care together with the whole community of people in our villages.
