It’s a busy but exciting week ahead. Are you free on any of the following days this week, to help Sylvia and friends put together our wonderful Well Dressing . All are welcome.

St Mary’s Well Dressing Timetable 2025

Date/Time Activity

Fri. 27th June Drain clay. Puddling clay. Empty paddling pool. Frame moved into church.

10.00 a.m. Clay added to frame. Clay to be checked and kept moist.

Sun. 29th June Finish adding clay if necessary. Smooth clay.

2.00 p.m. Smooth clay. Design to be laid over frame. Pricking out design to start.

Mon 30th June Finish pricking out. Outlining of design to start

10.00 – 12.00

Tues. 1st July Finish outlining. Start adding dry material

4.00 – 6.00

Wed. 2nd July Finish dry material. Start adding fresh

2.00 – 4.00 p.m.

Thurs. 3rd July Continue with fresh material

10.00 - 12.00 and/or

2.00 – 4.00 p.m.

Fri. 4th July

10.00-12.00 and/or Complete dressing, clear up. Displays to go up in church

2.00 – 4.00 p.m.

Sat. 5th July ERECT FRAME IN CHURCHYARD Continue to work on displays

10.15 a.m. Volunteers to help with refreshments, please

2.00 p.m. Service of Thanksgiving lead by Rev Jo
