Our Vicar, The Venerable Dr Paul Moore sadly retired on health grounds at the end of October. Details of upcoming services for November 2025 appear below from which you will see that there is some flexibility of offering whilst we are in ‘vacancy’.
St Helen’s Church Grindleford - Church Services for November 20252 November at 9.30am - Holy Communion kindly led by Rev Graham Piggott9 November at 10.15am - Remembrance Service kindly led by Tony Hill followed by a laying of wreathes at the War memorial at 11.00am16 November - No service at St Helen's - but all are welcome at Hathersage Church at 9.30 for 10.00am23 November at 9.30am - Holy Communion kindly led by Rev Lisa Price30 November - No service at St Helen’s but all very welcome at Bamford Church at 11.00am for what will be the last official service of Roger Mather (who is retiring after very many years service as a Reader) and led by Rev Graham Piggott.All are very welcome…
