Our Vicar, The Venerable Dr Paul Moore is sadly due to retire on health grounds at the end of October. Details of upcoming services for October 2025 appear below from which you will see that his final service in Grindleford will be on Sunday 19 October at 9.30am and his final Benefice wide service will be on 26 October 2025 at 10.00am followed by a presentation.

5 October @ 10.00 - Harvest celebration with Tony Hill with craft activities and a free Brunch sandwich 12 October @ 9.30 Morning Worship with Bernard Madden19 October @ 9.30 Holy Communion with Paul Moore - this will be Paul’s final Grindleford service26 October @ 10.00 - no service in Grindleford but there will be a combined service of the three parishes which make up the Benefice in Hathersage @ 10.00 to mark Paul’s retirement with a presentation afterwards.All are very welcome…
