St Edmund

Welcome to St Edmund's Church.

St Edmund's is open daily. Winter opening times 10 am to 4 pm (or dusk when earlier).

Visitors are always welcome at St Edmund's. Explore the history. Sit in the old box pews and enjoy the peace of this special place. Or take a few moments for prayer and reflection. Or simply shelter from the rain!

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in St Edmund's.

St Edmund's is also on the Hope Pilgrimage route. You can find out more about this Pilgrimage route, an extension of the older Peak Pilgrimage, in church.

The parish of Castleton: St Edmund is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
