The Blessed Sacrament has been removed to the Vicarage and Rectory.The Office will continue to be said and Mass will be offered at home to the glory of God and on behalf of the parish, town, country and the world. TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PUBLIC WORSHIPFollowing Church of England advice aimed at limiting the spread of Coronavirus, public worship has been suspended until further notice. All formal meetings due to be held in the church are also cancelled.STAVELEY CHURCH OPEN FOR PRIVATE PRAYER ON SUNDAYSThe church building will be open for private prayer from 9.30 am until 10.30 am on Sundays for anyone who needs time for quiet personal contemplation and prayer. The Mass of the Sunday will have been said privately, and the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed during the period of contemplation. Please observe the guidelines on distancing (2 metres) and hygiene practices when entering the church.PEOPLE AT RISKIf you are in at 'at risk' group, we advise you to pray from home using resources available on our Parish Facebook page or the Church of England website. You may care to worship online by watching the video link to St Mary's, Kenton, a church of the Society, who have a permanent live webcam.
