St Michael & All Angels is the Church of England Parish Church for Church, Taddington within the Diocese of Derby and is part of The White Peak group of parishes together with Biggin, Earl Sterndale, Monyash, Chelmorton and Hartington.

14th-century St Michael & All Angels has been described by Pevsner as one of the prettiest and best-proportioned churches in the Peak District.

Our church is open daily generally in early Spring through to October but visits can be made by contacting the Church Warden if the church is locked and you are always welcome to join us for worship at one of our services details of which can be found on our Services and Events page. The services calendar for all ten churches across the White Peak and Youlgrave Benefices can be found here.
