All Saints Church, Ashover
Ashover is credited in the Domesday survey of 1086, with possession of a church, a priest and a mill. The current church is 14th century but with a 21st century attitude. We welcome all and would love you to visit our website and come along to a service in our church (in Covid-19 times with face covering, social distancing and humming along to the songs).
Our Pre-school group, Acorns, and our Sunday group for youngsters, Allsorts, is meeting outside with their leaders until after 21st June when it is hoped to return to indoor activities.
The Home Fellowship group has been zooming along and will start their usual outdoor evening events and walks over the Summer from June.
The parish of Ashover: All Saints is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
