Church of England Diocese of Derby St. John Newbold with Dunston

Newbold Parish Church

Newbold Parish Church is a place of worship, fellowship, prayer, fun, laughter, and above all a place for people to encounter God – Father, Son & Holy Spirit!

Our worship style varies depending on which service you attend. From a traditional C of E holy communion service, to inter-active family fun.

We also have strong links with our local primary schools, including Newbold Church Primary School.

The parish of Newbold: St John the Evangelist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
