We wish Mark and Elaine every blessing as they have taken this next step in their journey of faith. It was a joy to join with other candidates from churches in the Northeast Deanery—Saints Augustine, Chesterfield, St. James the Greater, Barlborough and St. Michael and All Angels, Brimington.

Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey at which you affirm for yourself the faith into which you have been baptized and is carried out at a special service by the Bishop.

Prior to confirmation, you can take a course, exploring faith with others who are thinking about confirmation, and asking any questions you have about God, Jesus and the journey of faith in a safe environment.

The beginner’s course can be taken even if you eventually decide not to be confirmed (yet!). Ask Rev Rhoda for more details.
