St Luke's Church, Glossop

St Luke's Church, Glossop is a lively church made up of people of different ages and backgrounds. We are seeking to grow deeper in our love for God, for one another and for our community. No church experience needed - whether you're 0 or 100, come along and see - you'll be welcome!

Along with St James' Church, we are part of Whitfield Parish which covers a central part of Glossop.  The St James' Church website can be found here: St James' Church, Glossop.

Mission Partners' Sunday

We are delighted that Sid and Tess Williams will be coming to share with us during the (5th Sunday) parish service on the 30th November at 10.30am in St. James' Church. It will no doubt be encouraging and challenging to hear of how God is working through them in the Embassy ministry. Should you want to find out more, please follow the link: https://www.embassyvillage.co.uk. There will also be time for you to chat with Tess and Sid over the usual bring-and-share fellowship lunch after the service.

As is our custom, we will spend some time praying for Embassy and possibly giving financial support. In particular, as the Embassy Village build nears completion they have started a campaign to raise funds to kit out the 40 units that will be available. The estimated cost for each one is £850 and it has been suggested that we might aim to sponsor a unit. To that end the PCC agreed to allocate the remainder of this year's discretionary grant fund to be added to the congregation's donations on the day, should that be necessary.

There will be no service at St Luke's on Sunday 30th November.
