Between the death of Jesus on Good Friday and the clamorous joy of Easter Day lies what some call Holy Saturday, a day of uncertainty in the Gospel Story, a quiet day to contemplate Good Friday without the hope as yet of Easter Day. St James’ Church will be open for an hour of contemplation and reflection. There will be a “thought” or reading on the quarter
hour, starting at 7pm. In between is silence for your personal prayer. Feel free to come for as much or as little of the time as you wish or can manage.
