Our Building
St Matthew's is a Grade 1 listed church and features in Simon Jenkins' book "England's 1,000 best churches." It is noted for fine collection of medieval stained glass, especially that which came from Dale Abbey at the dissolution. It is also noted for its memorial brasses and armorial tiles.

Tea/coffee served after Sunday services (we have no kitchen facilities) and also at Wednesday Coffee Mornings already described.
Music and Worship
We have four bells.
Our organ is by Hill and as such is highly regarded by our Diocesan Organs' Adviser.
Groups, Courses and Activities
This is held on the third Wednesday morning of each month in the church from 10.30 am - 12 noon.
Home-made cakes, traybakes, tea & coffee served. All are welcome.
