There are a number of events held through the year including Derwent brass who are always welcome and draw quite an audience.

We were fortunate to purchase an new organ in 2018 thanks largely to generous donations, we have an excellent and talented director of music ,Steve Mansfield and a willing band of visiting organists for when he needs a break.

St Helen's is pleased to have a well supported choir who bring their talents to enhance our services.New members are always welcome ,our music director Steve Mqnsfield would be happy to hear from you if you are interested
