St Mary's Church is taking part in Heritage Open Days in September

St Mary's will be throwing its doors open in September as part of the Heritage Open Days project. Visitors on 10th September will be able to climb the church tower (which isn't usually open to the public) and look at the views across Marston and Hilton from the parapet. On the climb up the tower you can also see the church clock (which was installed to commemorate the coronation of King George V in 1911) and you can see the church bells. There will also be the opportunity to enjoy a prayer walk in the peaceful churchyard, and there will be historical information about the church and artefacts on display.

The open days will be held on Sunday 10th Sep from 2pm to 4pm (tower open), Saturday 16th Sep from 11am to 4pm and Sunday 17th Sep from 12pm to 4pm. Entry is free, and there is no need to book.
