You are invited to come and join in at 10:45am for our Christingle celebration - this is for all ages, family friendly, and will be in our building (Alvaston Parish Church - also known as Alvaston: St Michael's - Church Street, DE24 0PR), and also online on Facebook.

Collection (cash and contactless giving) will be for the Children's Society.

Also, we are collecting mens socks (new or clean preloved) for the night shelter - it's a small thing but means so much to those in need. Please bring your socks to donate to any of our Christmas services from now on and pop them in our collection point in Alvaston Parish Church. Thank you!!!

Everyone welcome
- enjoy refreshments afterwards
- free parking next to the church including two designated disabled spaces
- the Church is fully accessible (no steps) and has an accessible toilet
Readings will be from James 5:7-10 and Matthew 11:2-11

All music used is covered by CCLI and performed by our musicians

Alvaston Parish Church

We welcome everyone to our accessible building and to all our services and events.  

As well as Sunday worship, during the week the building is open most days for private prayer, and most of the day (11am-4pm) on Wednesdays for the Warm Welcome Hub, Midweek Gathering, and 'Craft & Chat'.  

Weekly worship gatherings in the church (check events page for details and specific dates):
Sunday 9am - Lord's Supper*, and 10:45am Gathering*
Tuesday 8:45am Morning Prayer*
Wednesday 10:15pm Midweek Gathering

We have a number of different styles and experiences of worship throughout the month, but one Lord and saviour - Jesus Christ.

The Church is not the building, but the people.  We seek to bring God's Love, Healing and Scripture to the people of the parish, and make our building a focal point of community life.

(Alvaston Parish Church is also known locally, and on some maps, as Alvaston: St. Michaels.)
