About Us
St Michael's Church is situated near the River Trent along the Repton Road. We are part of the newly formed Anchor Benefice and our Vicar is the Reverend Steve Short.
On the first Wednesday of each month between 10 am-11.30 am, the church is open as a community library and on the first Saturday of each month we have our fundraising Coffee Morning in Willington village Hall from 10 a.m. Meet and Make Friends is held on the third and fourth Wednesday of each month between 10 a.m. & 12 noon in church.
The Church is a lovely intimate location for a wedding or baptism.
The churchyard has now been closed but within the grounds lies a war memorial from the second world war and a remembrance garden. It offers a quiet place for prayer and reflection.
