About Us
St Michael's Church is in the heart of the village sited next to the river Trent and the Mercia canal.
The church is led by the Revd Steve Short, supported by Church Wardens Carol and Malcolm Lewins.
The church has in a social / fundraising event on the first Saturday of each month in the village hall.
On the first Wednesday of each month (10am-11.30am), the church is open as a community library. All other Wednesdays, the church is open from 10am-12pm for Meet and Make Friends.
The Church is a lovely intimate location for a wedding or baptism.
The churchyard has now been closed but within the grounds lies a war memorial from the second world war. It offers a quiet place for prayer and reflection.
