Built about 1170, this church still has late norman features on the south wall. It has seen many changes, through the Reformation and subsequently. A gallery was added as the village grew, then demolished in the mid-19th century and a side aisle and west porch built. Over the last 3 years the church has undergone significant renovation with the provision of an office, accessible toilet, Servery, re-roofing and removal of pews in the North Aisle to provide a flexible community space. Looking to the future, the Breathing Space project was launched in February 2011. The project has received charity status and has appointed a Project Officer. For more information, visit the Breathing Space website: Breathing Space
