Our harvest festival on Sunday 20 September raised £195 for USPG's Harvest Appeal supporting their 'Smart Waste We Care' programme helping communities in Madagascar to turn waste into resources, protect their land and grow healthier harvests.Gifts of produce, toiletries and monetary donations were sent to The People's Kitchen, Newcastle who work with many vulnerable people in the North East who might be homeless, at risk, unemployed, lonely or living in poverty.
