Common Worship, alternating a Service of the Word with a Sung Eucharist
Each Tuesday we hold a mindfulness meditation group. Initially we met in the chapter house All Saints but due to the cold weather, from December 2023 we decided to hold our meetings at 1 Deanery Cottages.
The session comprises of guided meditation then a period of silent meditation. In total this lasts 45mins then we have refreshments.
This is a free group and is open to anyone. It is a drop-in so no long-term or regular commitment. Do come along and give it a try, no experience necessary.

Act of Worship
An informal Bible study for an hour followed by Compline at 7pm
We meet fortnightly on a Thursday evening in the Chapter House, except in July and August. We have a range of speakers for most meetings, which are listed in the separate left hand tab. Each meeting is centred on contemplative prayer in the Christian tradition.
A brief reading, or piece of music, leads into about 30 minutes of silent contemplative prayer.
We welcome people of all denominations.

We meet on first Monday in the month unless this falls on a Bank Holiday, when we meet on the 2nd Monday January 8th, April 8th May 13th
Monthly family Communion service with St John's. The service includes family friendly activities, crafts and worship.
We met once a month in the Chapter house at 2pm on the second Tuesday in the month. We arrange a series of speakers as well as having time for a short service and refreshments.

Saturday First Mass of Easter as darkness falls.

We join together to celebrate the Resurrection and join with other Christians in Lanchester for the thatching of the Cross.
