Church life

The home group meets on Wednesday mornings during term time to study the Bible together, to pray, and to share fellowship. Get in touch to find out more.

Our choir rehearses on Friday evenings and leads the singing in our Sunday morning services, along with our music group at the monthly all age services. For more information, please contact our organist Paul Austin-Martin by email, or get in touch by some other means.

The bell ringing team ring on Sunday mornings before the 11am service and for all the major services and weddings and practise on Thursday evenings. Bell ringing is a fascinating and mentally-challenging hobby that’s well within the capabilities of most people. Once gained, bell ringing is a skill for life that you’ll never forget and it can open up a lifetime of experiences and enjoyment. You don’t need to be a member of the church to join us. Full training is given so no previous experience isrequired. If you would like to get involved or arrange to visit the tower to see what we do, please contact, Mike Hodgson, tower captain, on 07711130239.

The Hurworth Youth Project is run by DACYM (Darlington Area Churches Youth Ministry) and holds activities on Friday evenings in the church centre (inside the church building).
