Global Week of 24x7 Prayer in Stockton Deanery

Occurring
for 1 day
Venue
St Aidan's Billingham
Address
Tintern Avenue Billingham, TS23 2DF, United Kingdom

Join us for the Stockton Deanery 24x7 prayer week, from 1-7th September. Each day, one of our deanery churches will be open for prayer for 24 hours from 8.00am, to 8.00am the next day, and on Wednesday 3rd-Thursday 4th it will be turn of Billingham Team Parish, where will have St Aidan's available for prayer.

The other venues will be Monday - All Saints Eaglescliffe, Tuesday - St Paul's Stockton, Thursday - Stockton Parish Church, Friday - St Peter's Yarm Road, Saturday - St Michael and All Angels Norton, and Sunday - All Saints Hartburn. Contact us for details if you want to pray at one of these venues, rather than at St Aidan's Billingham.

The idea is that you book a one-hour slot to come and pray at church - or at home if that's the easiest way for you - and preferably in pairs or a small group. We will make arrangements for everything to be safe and secure if you are coming alone during the night. To book, you can click on the link below, then click on "Jump to the next bookable date" to jump to the first week of September. Then just select on a time, and complete the short form. Times that already have at least one person committed to praying will disappear from the calendar, so you don't need to book and you can be assured of a prayer partner.

You should receive a confirmation email which explains how to cancel or rearrange if your plans change. Access on the day will be via the church hall door or the main church door, both on Tintern Avenue, and will be clearly signposted.

Prayer resources will be available to help you focus your prayers.

St Peter's Wolviston

Until the early 20th Century, St Peter's and St Cuthbert's were the only churches in the area, but as the town of Billingham grew rapidly, new estates grew that now link the whole area. However, St Peter's remains in many ways a village church, serving the long-established village of Wolviston, but contributing energy and imagination to the Billingham Team Parish.
