Holy Trinity Swalwell

After a busy Christmas we're planning 2026 with our new Vicar, Rev. James Scott. James is settling in well and getting to know everyone. He is also, of course looking after St Mary's Church in Whickham and living in the Rectory with his wife and baby son, William. He has a lot going on so please keep them all in your prayers as they adjust to a new beginning in their ministry. Easter is early this year, Easter Sunday is the 5th April. Such an important festival in the Church calendar rightly deserves a great celebration so we're planning lots to do, especially during Holy Week. Watch out for the publicity around the village and on Facebook We hope to begin our Walking Group again in March. Just a gentle stroll in good conversation with a stop for lunch along the way. Finally, thank you to everyone who came along over Christmas or added a bauble to the tree outside Church. We enjoyed seeing you and hope to see you again...maybe at Easter.
