We are a Christian fellowship, seeking to be Jesus-centred, focused on Him and his life-giving truth, loving each other well, and blessing those we know and the wider community. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic lots of our activities are on hold and we are using this time to rethink what Jesus calls us to do. You're very welcome to join us in person or online by clicking here to view our Youtube channel and feel free to contact us about anything and everything.
The parish of Hebburn: St John is committed to the
safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow
the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish
Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Durham’s safeguarding pages
contain vital links and information including contacts for the
Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are
concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk
of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns
about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your
local authority Children or Adults Services. You can also view our safeguarding policy by clicking here.
