Facilities and features

Accessibility

Male, female, and disability access toilets available in the Haver Hall.

Baby Changing Facilities

We have a small car park with level access to the church and Haver Hall, and would encourage you to leave it for those who most need closest access. There is plenty of on-street parking available on the roads around the church.

In the Haver Hall.

We have a neurodivergent vicar. We also have a good relationship with the nearby Barbara Priestman Academy (autism specialism secondary school). Our services often have an interactive or sensory element. For those who may find themselves overwhelmed at times, the Lady Chapel offers a safe space separate from the main part of the church by glass walls, so you can still see what is going on if you so chose.

Accessible car parking
Ramped entrance

We have a hearing loop in the church.

Large print copies of orders of service are available. Words are also projected on two screens at the front of the room for some services, especially when we expect large numbers of guests.

Assistance Dogs

There is level access from the car park. Within the building, there is space to move around. We have no pews, only chairs. Space is permanently reserved for wheelchairs on either side of the aisle, at the front, but we can also move chairs to create space wherever you would like to sit. At present, a step prevents wheelchair users from reaching the communion rail: this being so, we come to you.

Our Building

Our building houses the largest collection of Leonard Evetts stained glass windows in the world. They really are worth a visit.

Tuesday evenings 6.00-7.00 p.m.

We have achieved the Bronze Award, and hope to build on this towards Silver.

A selection of second hand novels housed in one of our communal rooms.
