The commemoration of the Last Supper, with foot washing and vigil at the Altar of Repose until Midnight.

This service is our yearly remembrance of the Lord's sacrifice upon the cross. As part of our commemoration there is a reading of the Passion, veneration of the cross and communion.

The first disciples would have gathered on the night of Jesus' death to think through the events of the day. We do the same as we gather for Stations of the Cross.

The first service of Easter begins in darkness as we hear the story of salvation and ends in the light of the Resurrection.
