The stained glass east window is the parish’s memorial to the men of Barton who died in the 1914-1918 and 1939-1945 wars. Two of these men were buried in Barton churchyard: Corporal Walter Jackson’s grave is to the north of the church, close to the north porch, and Group Captain John de Courcey’s grave is by the foot of the tower, on the south side.
