The church of St Mary and St Andrew is a warm and inclusive community of people who seek to know and reflect the love of God seen in Jesus Christ.

For details of church activities and our services, please see our main website. We live-stream the majority services, a link being found on the external website.

We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer. For more details, please see: https://whittlesfordparish.wixsite.com/whittlesford-church

Safeguarding

St Mary's and St Andrew's is committed to safeguarding all those who attend worship and any other activities that we offer. We follow the House of Bishop's Policy (2017), the Diocese of Ely policy and procedures and the practice guidelines as detailed in the Parish Safeguarding Handbook (2018).

We seek to create a culture where everyone is included, respected, listened to, and taken seriously. We also endeavour to create an environment that is physically safe, emotionally nurturing, intellectually open, spiritually healthy and socially inclusive. We accept the prime duty of care for children and vulnerable adults, and have appointed a safeguarding officer to ensure that what we do is informed by up-to-date policies and procedures from local and national authorities. We endeavour to make training and information available to everyone to foster and encourage a culture of congressional care.
