About Us

St Leonard's Church Catworth is one of a group of seven rural churches known as the West Leightonstone BeneficeThe churches are in the villages of Brington, Bythorn, Catworth, Keyston. Leighton Bromswold, Molesworth, and Old Weston. They are part of the Diocese of Ely.

St Leonard’s is a Grade One Listed building dating from the 13th century, with later works done in the 14th, 15th and 17th centuries.  It has some wonderful features and is generally in a very good state of repair.

We regularly hold services, with special services held for major occasions throughout the year.  We also hold other events from time to time, including a Patronal festival in the late autumn and sometimes a theatrical performance which can create a magical and wonderful atmosphere.

The church is open every day and we warmly invite you to come in and visit, to either enjoy the surroundings, simply sit in a reflective moment or to come and join us for a service.
