Accessibility
We are a welcoming church. We have a box of fidget and sensory objects which are freely available for use throughout services.
We have a sensory tent for anyone who may experience sensory overwhelm and need a safe space.
We have a play space within the church for young children and their parents
If you need to move around during services this is absolutely fine. If you have additional needs which nee to be accommodated please get in touch and let us know how we can help
W have a number of attendees who use electronic scooters and mobility chairs. We have a manual wheelchair which is available for use if required.
We are very welcoming of individuals with hidden disabilities. There are quiet spaces if needed. You are welcome to use noise cancelling headphones or use whatever adjustments you need.
We have a Parish nurse who is happy to work with you to support you as required.
Parish nurse has completed mental health first aider training and suicide awareness training, and is experienced in working with those who have a history of depression/anxiety and self harm.
If everything gets a bit loud and overwhelming, please make use of the parish room, the sensory tent, or have a wander out to the churchyard for some fresh air

Owners are very welcome to accompany their dogs to church, We have dog treats and water available. Dogs on leads are welcome to the altar for a blessing

We hold a social group for neurodivergent adults on the 4th Saturday of the month from 2-5pm
Roadside parking is available. There is also additional parking on the tower lawn
Large print hymn books are available
We have a baby changing table situated in the ladies toilet
Our Building
We have two toilets in the church.
Currently the access corridor is not completely accessible for large modern disability scooters, but we do have a manual chair which you can request to use.
Music and Worship
We have a fabulous organ which is popular amongst organists.
We host concerts with music from visiting organists.
We host concerts by local and national choir and singing groups
Groups, Courses and Activities
We have a youth group for 11-16 year olds which is held on Wednesdays in term time, from 3.30-5pm
We have run an Alpha course for the past 3 years, but try to co-ordinate with the other churches in the town
If you would like to join us please come along- either contact Natalie our vicar, or simply turn up
We hold a regular Bible on Wednesdays morning from 10,30 after our midweek communion service.
Anyone is welcome. All questions are welcomed.
We also hold an evening house group bible study to which anyone is welcome.

Held every 2nd Saturday of the month from 09.30
We hold a lot of community events, including connections cafe on a Tuesday morning, we host the Littleport Community food hub on a Tuesday and Friday morning,
Parish nurse holds a regular drop-in session on a Saturday morning from 10am as well as organised groups which are held as advertised.
We are always happy to attend community events and work closely with the town council, both Primary schools and the local secondary school
Sue, our Parish nurse is available on Saturday mornings if you need a listening ear or some support in relation to a physical, emotional or spiritual health concern.
You can drop in, or arrange an appointment using the numbers/email address advertised.
Sue is also happy to deal with issues by text message, WhatsApp and email
Messy Church is held on the 1st Saturday of the month. It starts at 9am with breakfast served in the Parish room until about 09.30. We then move into the church for a short period of worship, crafts and activities.
Those who do not want to engage in crafts and activities can join other like-minded individuals in the Parish room for a bible study led by one of our ministry team,
There is no charge for breakfast, and all are welcome. However donations towards the work of St George's are always gratefully accepted.
If you are struggling with debt or need benefits advice, come along to Connections cafe on a Tuesday morning where volunteers will help you or pass you on to someone more specialist if needed
W have a mothers union branch which meets monthly
Over 60's are welcome to most of our events and activities, unless specifically stated
Sue, our Parish nurse has a lot of experience working with families and in her NHS job she works in a role supporting young parents to become excellent parents. If you need support or just want to talk things through, please come along for a chat. There is no charge to speak to the parish nurse- this is a voluntary role, as Sue just loves being able to offer support where she can.
There is no such thing as a daft question. And if there is, please be assured that Sue has already asked them first!!
We hold a toddler group on a Tuesday morning at 9,30
We hold a special sensory play session for young children and families on the 4th Saturday of the month from 10-1200. Activities include sensory lighting, non noisy building blocks, sensory trays, spinning chairs, beanbags and more
We are always looking for committed volunteers to help us with our fundraising events and activities

Free wifi is available.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday morning, as well as some additional dates if pre-planned
If the outer doors are open but the inner doors are locked, try the doorbell.
The Church is open every Saturday- as our Parish nurse is available.
You are welcome to speak to her if you wish, or you can come in to enjoy some peace, quiet, prayer and at the moment, a little bit of shade.
Dogs are welcome at any service and event.

We try to have our church open and accessible as much as possible.
