Facilities and features

Accessibility

Space for about 5 cars on the grass bank outside the church. Beware, the ground is clay and slippery in wet periods

We are pleased to welcome assistance (and other well-behaved) dogs, and have a drinking bowl outside the porch for those who simply pass by to walk the footpath in the nieighbouring field

Our path is solid but at present very uneven at the gate - we are about to fund-raise for a replacement. The access to the church is level, and the door width (880mm) sufficient for wheelchairs and many mobility scooters

Our Building

Our church is always open and we welcome those who wish to pray quietly as well as those who wish to look at our small church

Come and admire our fine west window, which depicts the women at the empty tomb. It was manufactured by Mayer of Munich and London, and put in place in 1887 in memory of Elizabeth Bessie Owen, wife of Dr George Morwick Mead of Newmarket

Listed Building

Music and Worship

A small probably previously domestic organ, installed sometime in the second half of the 19th century, and still played each week. If you would like to play for us some Sundays, we should be delighted to meet you - or to offer lessons.

Groups, Courses and Activities

Coffee and chat happens every Monday during the summer months, 10.30 - midday (replacing the warm hub provided by the Village Hall in the winter). We often sit outside - but whether we are in or out, just turn up - with the dog if it behaves well!
