9.30am Sung Holy Communion Service

Every Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for 1h

St John's Church,
Station Road,
March,
Cambridgeshire

Join us for a full sung Holy Communion service with choir, hymns and sermon.

Children are welcome - John's Juniors, our active Sunday School meets at 9.15 in St John's Church Hall (on the corner of Station Road and Queens Street) and walks the very short distance to church to join the main congregation shortly before they receive Communion. During special services (such as Easter, Mothering Sunday etc) this takes the form of an all-age Communion service when everyone stays in church for the whole worship session.

Everyone is welcome to attend these services; you do not need to have been baptised or confirmed - blessings are available for those who do not wish to/cannot take Communion and the sacraments can be brought to those within the congregation who cannot physically make it to the altar.

Refreshments are available after the service for those who wish to stay a while longer and/or chat with others within the congregation.

St John's Tots Toddler Group

St John's Church Hall
Station Road,
March, Cambridgeshire

We are a friendly and welcoming toddler group who meet at St John’s Church Hall on Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings from 9:15-11:15am (term time only)

First session is FREE then it is £1.00 for the first child and 10p for every additional child. Tea and coffee are available for the adults and a snack is provided for the children attending.

On Mondays we base our crafts on what we have learned on the previous Sunday at John’s Juniors using Sermon4Kids. Wednesday’s and Friday’s crafts are also based on both church and ordinary crafts; we aim to bring in singing and stories when possible, as we are a church group and required to do some learning through Bible stories.

We also have a play session over at St John’s Church with a small tot’s service/story for Easter, Harvest, and Christmas, as well as a talk on Remembrance Day

We have a craft area for young ones to get creative along with the many areas of toys to get involved in.
During school holidays we hold discos and other fundraising events either in the hall or at St John’s church.
