Millions of people have tried Alpha and found it a life-changing experience. A group of 18 people, both young and older have just completed our first programme. They are so enthusiastic about that we are starting another Alpha course on Monday 26th January 2026 for anyone who is curious about life, who wants to ask questions. Are you curious? Why not give it go? You can come to the taster session without any commitment to come again. Refreshments will be provided. Various people have already said they are going to come for a variety of reasons - either they want to get baptised or confirmed, or have recently had a baby which has set them off thinking about the wondrous nature of life. Whatever your reason, come for the first session and if you enjoy it, come back for more. Our annual Founders Day Fete returned on June 14th, and with the support of parishioners far and wide it was another great day. We had some 240 people in attendance and were able to raise much needed funds for our beloved church. We took an amazing £1585 on the day and after costs we had £1185 net - so thank you very, very much! We had all last years attractions like Archery, Crockery Smashing, (Cuddly) Swan Throwing, Hoopla, Silly Games, WW2 memorabilia on display, Ice Cream van, beer tent, refreshments, stalls selling plants, honey, knitwear & pyrography. The local Police had a stand, there was a coconut shy and so, so much more. It really was an absolutely lovely day with lots of smiling happy faces both young and old. Again, many, many thanks for your support - it makes all the hard work totally worth it!
