St Peter's, Clearwell

St Peter's is a Victorian church in the village of Clearwell. It serves the local community including the Church of England Primary School opposite its gates, as well as being a popular venue for weddings. Please note, currently, we are asking visitors to keep to the paths as masonry has fallen over the winter time. The North aisle is not in use and has been blocked off for safety reasons. There are no regular church services at St Peter's, but services at Easter and Christmas are usually held here.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishop's guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Mark Bick (http://www.mid-wyedeanchurches.co.uk/safeguarding/) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Judith Knight (https://www.gloucester.anglican.org/about-us/safeguarding/). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
