St Paul

Welcome to the page for St Paul's Shurdington. We are part of The Greenway Benefice, which includes ourselves and our sister churches, Holy Trinity Badgeworth and St Mary's Witcombe with Bentham.  Click here for a link to the Benefice page and our other churches.

For the most up to date information about special services and events, please visit our Facebook page @greenwaychurches

Our church is open, we are holding services both physically and on-line, and we are continuing to be a supportive Christian presence in our local communities.

St Paul's church is currently open for individual private prayer daily  from 10am to 2pm.  Visitors are asked to follow any current Covid guidelines, including safe distancing, use of hand sanitiser, wearing face masks or face coverings etc. Thank you.

2022: Services are currently held at St Paul's at 9.30am three times a month, with a benefice service on the fourth Sunday (this rotates around our three Parishes)

You are very welcome to come along any Sunday - you will be warmly welcomed, but please do check the Services and Events tag to see which church the fourth and fifth Sunday services will be held at.

You can also join us online - every Sunday the main service from one of our three churches is livestreamed on  Facebook, we also hold several weekday on-line services.

How else are we being church at the moment?

We know that not everyone is comfortable to return to their pre-pandemic level of activities yet, and recent events have affected many people's lifestyles.

Worship resources are available online and via email. We are livestreaming worship on our Facebook page, and some services are now on Zoom - see the Services and Events section for details.

Our Pastoral Care team can provide a listening ear, and our Greenway Gifts project can help with practical support. Please check the monthly Newssheet in the News and Notices tag for details of these.

New YouTube Channel

We now have a YouTube channel "Greenway Churches". Anyone can go to the channel to watch worship videos from our Facebook services, as well as special worship videos for children. Do take a look and subscribe to receive notifications when we add new videos.

Because church is still church, wherever we are. 🙏

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
