Getting here
Welcome to Holy Apostles!
In everything we do we place a high emphasis on making friends, relevant bible teaching, worship and prayer. We run a network of small groups that meet together during the week. We regularly run Alpha courses for those who are enquiring about or just getting going in the Christian faith.
There is lots going on for children and young people.
Our Sunday services are an opportunity for everybody, young and old, to come together and worship God in the company of friends and family.
On the first Sunday of the month we have a combined 10.00 am service with the whole church gathering together. There are children's groups available for our young people.
The rest of the month we currently have 9.00 am and 10.30 am services. The earlier service is around 45 minutes long and with a more structured feel. Musically it is usually mostly hymns played on the organ, and with a smaller number of contemporary songs by a band. Communion is available at the 9.00 am on the fourth Sunday of the month.
The 10.30 am service is our informal family friendly service with more contemporary songs and fewer organ hymns, and lasts around an hour and a quarter. At this second service most weeks we have groups for children and youth.
We also have a 2pm midweek communion which is very informal and meets in the church on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.
Once a month, at 4pm on the first Sunday of the month we have Messy Church, a time of fun, creativity, music and food, aimed at families with primary school aged children.
