📰 Youth Update: Campfire Sparks! St Michael’s Church family, We’re excited to share how Campfire, our youth provision, has been lighting up our young people’s hearts this season! 🔥 From scaling heights at indoor climbing to striking up fun during bowling nights, Campfire has been busy building memories. But more than the activities, something deeper has been growing relationships. 💬 Faith, Friendship, and Big Questions In moments around shared meals or after catching their breath from a frantic game of four square, our young people have been opening up, asking heartfelt questions about life, purpose, and faith. It’s been beautiful to witness their curiosity and courage as they explore what it means to grow spiritually together. 🤝 Growing Together This isn’t just about fun events (though we’ve had plenty!); our young people have been inviting their friends and so with growing numbers God has provided a growing team to. We’ve said thank you and goodbye to Chi - Chi has helped for a few years but has moved on to new things in her day job and sadly moved away. Taz has gracefully stepped in to leading and is on point with their sense of humour. We’ve seen Maia step up and flourish as one of our young leaders - She’s doing an awesome job and reminds us of the young people’s perspective when it comes to planning, delivery and reviewing the sessions. We need to welcome Michelle and Nic who have been helping with Campfire the hard work in the kitchen making Jacket potatoes and other food 😊 Thank you for praying and supporting our youth. Campfire is sparking something real in the lives of our church family. With love, grace and thanks, The Youth Team @ St Michael’s
