St Mary

Situated in the heart of Prestbury village, our worship offers a variety of styles, from the quiet said Eucharist to the lively informal Celebrate! service and our Sung Eucharist with robed choir, servers and incense. Funerals are currently permitted, provided that the gathering consists of no more than 30 people. Weddings may take place as long as no more than 6 guests attend.

The parish of Prestbury St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

The services in Church will be a Eucharist (also known as Mass or Holy Communion) service, with only intincted bread being distributed to those who wish to receive. We encourage the wearing of face masks when attending services, and have an area of socially-distanced seating for those who prefer it. The Peace is shared in a way that does not involve touching.
