Events in the parish this autumn

The church PCC are organising a range of social and community events in the late summer and autumn of this year and this News story will be updated as things take shape.

We have already had a successful very well attended parish outing to Nature In Art  in Twigworth on 14th August - there are photos on our Facebook page.  Our Parish Picnic on Bank Holiday Sunday 30th was also enjoyable even though we moved it to the Church Centre because of the very grim weather forecast.   Again, there are photos on the Facebook page.

We are holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning from 10:30-12:30 on Saturday 26th September in the Church Centre, organised by the same team who run our popular annual Christian Aid Week coffee mornings.

There will be a Harvest Festival Bring and Share Lunch  in the Church Centre after our service on Sunday 4th October.

The following day, Monday 5th October, we are staging an Experience Harvest interactive event to introduce young people from Year 3 of Greatfield Park Primary Schools to the harvest season.  The same school will also be holding their Harvest Festival Service at our church on the morning of Wednesday 7th October.

We will be holding a Craft Fair in the Church Centre on Saturday 14th November - more details to follow.

Another very much definite event is our annual popular Carols by Candelight event on 20th December, and we are delighted that Bishop Paul has agreed to be our celebrant.  This year it will be open to all ages.

Many thanks are due to everyone who is helping make these events happen.
